Everyone playing a video game has probably heard about this one. Briefly, GTA:SA can be modded with "hot coffee" so that there is a small mini game that involves having cartoon sex with another character. GTA's maker Rockstar Games and developer TakeTwo, finally admit that the mini game was programmed in but was taken out of the game. It is the result of some hacker in Europe that found it and modded it and released it. Now everyone is really upset and GTA:SA has been pulled from shelves. The game rating is being changed. And now Take Two is being sued.
Here's my take: The gaming industry has changed because of Modders and Hackers. We can now take the available games and change them, making the game more playable and replayable. I do not think it is Take Two's fault. They did what they could to take the scene out of the game. But it is others that have exposed and re-wrote the game.
Oh by the way... the person suing Take Two is some mother who bought her teenage son the game to play.
HELLO! is she paying attention to what this game is about? Someone should sue her for buying a game for adults for her teenage son. Good Going Mom...
JUST OUT: The Sims 2 is under fire because of a nudity mod in there too.
The price of freedom is eternal vigilance...
But just for the record... my GTA is Hot Coffee
