After holding a board for 1 hour (waiting for matt), he shows up and decides that's not the board he wants. Ok no prob. I didn't have any objection to that because choosing a board is a hard decision and finding the RIGHT BOARD is tough to do.
So he goes, "lets go to Mel cottons" ok thats fine. So I get there first and find the EXACT BOARD Matt wants so I hold it. Actually I found 2, both priced differently. The Sales guy comes up and goes, "Hey, tomorrow we're starting a 50% off all snow gear Boards, boots and Bindings." Holy crap no way.
Matt bought a sweet Burton Custom X and I got a Burton Custom (no X) we got some nice deals on it.
Its gonna be balllllllaaaaaaaa to hit the snow!
Pictures to come soon!

49ers coaching changes
Something weird is happening. as a radio host said, Who would have thought that the 49ers, the worst team in the league could possibly lose it's offensive and defensive coordinators to head coaching assignments? More specifically, how can an offensive coordinator who's offences set records in futality, be hired as a head coach?
Well it has happened. Mike Mcarthy, 49ers Offensive Coordinator was hired on to be Green Bay's head coach.
So who replaces him? the Recently FIRED head coach of the Raiders, Norv Turner. Here's the thing on Turner, he's a good coordinator, but a lousy head coach. so maybe this might work out. Turner had Mike Nolan as his def coordinator in Washington. Also Turner was the Off Coordinator during Dallas's superbowl runs. So maybe it will work out. Hope so. but for the offense, there is no where to go but up. Bad doesn't define what they were last year. Horrible may not be able to describe it either. It can't get much worse. I can still get worse, but it can't get much worse...

DirecTv, I can fix it myself!
(Yeah I posted alot... but I need something to make me feel better!)
A few weeks ago, a storm came through. My directv wasn't that good. but since I left, I wasn't able to call them and figure it out. So today I called them. They determined that the problem was the dish was not recieving a strong signal. So they could send someone out for $70, or I can fix it myself. WELL DUH I'll fix it myself (since I'm saving for a new snowboard). So I get my socket wrench, and a ladder and on the roof I go.
I turn it right nad left and the signal goes up and down, but the signal never gets over (the recommended) 70%. So I move it up, ZOOOOOM up to 90. Damn. so I get my socketwrench and adjust it. BAM everythings back to normal. Hell the signal is stronger now than before.
I did screw up alittle. I was working on my Tivo and of course my Tivo is modded for a bigger hard drive and stuff. so They're trying to explain to me what to do but my menu doesn't match what they have. hahahaha Whoops! Gotta remember that for next time I need help.

Where are the Police when you need them? oh right there...
On the way Home today, I was in the #1 lane trying to move over to the slow lane. but this lady in a mini van was driving UP MY ASS. The speed limit was 55mph. So I moved over. The minivan sped past me. Then she switched lanes to the right and passed another car (on the right). suddenly a motorcycle turn left from a side street to the front of me. At first I thought it was a harley, but it was police officer, the lights came on flashing red and blue. Soon enough he pulled the lady over! I passed her laughing.
These are the times i want to slow down, point, and laugh in her face.

Goodbye Channel 104.9
Sigh. I'm so disappointed in this. ONe of my favorite radio stations made the switch to Spanish. SPANISH!!! I'm really pissed off about this. This was one of my favorite stations. They were always down at Mission Ale every Thursday. They PLAYED MUSIC. And good music. It really does suck.
Lots of Radio stations are changing to Spanish. Here in the Bay Area (if I can be more specific, San Jose), there is a huge Hispanic Community. I don't have a problem about that, however what about the rest of us who listen to English music? Whats going to happen to us?
I have a feeling that everyone is moving to satellite radio, like XM or Sirius radio. But why would i want to pay for this radio stuff? Maybe the answer is to listen to English music. But this sucks. and I hate it. Screw You Clear Channel for taking away a good music station. SCREW YOU.

Snowboarding Trip: Good Start, Bad Finish
The Snowboarding trip was alot of fun. However it ended on a horrible end.As we are about to leave we stopped to go to the bathroom, someone stole our snowboards out of the back of the truck. You don't know how much that infuriated us. I lost my board and bindings, while Matt lost all his stuff, board, bindings, boots, helmet, and probably more. It sucks. it is easily over $1000 between the 2 of us.
Other than that it was a great week to snowboard. There was fresh snow on Tuesday. And we 'boarded Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Friday. We gambled alittle and drove up to Reno too. We ate well all over the place. It was pretty good.
But alas, we have to go buy new boards. We understand what we can do more to prevent this. We're probably going to get a top for the truck so that it's all locked away and no one can get into the truck. Also we have to be more responsible about howe we handle our stuff. So we did learned a very expensive lesson.

Happy New Years
Happy New Year
This year because we had a football game on Sunday, Matt and I decided to take it easy. I convinced Matt that we should take Lightrail up to Mission Ale. Plus Matt T said that was a good idea to do. So Matt and I drive over to Light Rail.
The first problem was that we missed the first tram. And it was 15 minutes before the next tram was to leave. So we sat there until 11:00 before we were able to get going.
Along the way we picked up a group of 20-somethings, I think like 8 guys and 3 girls. They were sitting in the middle of the tram. They were somewhat drunk and loud but having a good time. No problem with them. Then we picked up a bunch of kids who we think were 16 yr olds at least 1 guy and 4 girls. The guy was loud and obnoxious but we let that slide because they were having fun and drunk. they sat behind us.
Then, when one of the 20s girls takes off her jacket, the 16-yr old guy start yelling "she's stripping get your ones out." Then he starts saying some other stuff that were not really that good about touching each other and stuff.
Then one of the 20s guy came walking up past Matt and I. We both thought the same thing. They're going to fight. Then we thought... We're never getting downtown...
The 20yr old says "You need to shut up dude." and the 16 yr old says. "f___ You" Next thing you know they are swining punches at each other. I called the 20s over and grabbed their friend and pulled him away. The 16yr old had a red eye and a bloody nose. The sister jumps up and goes, "who hit my brother!?!?!? Who Hit my Brother?!?!?!" and she got all po'ed. one of the 20s was trying to calm them down.
We stopped at a station and the driver comes out to see what the comotion was about. by then the 16 yr olds jumped off the tram. That was lucky because we continued on our way.
We got to Mission Ale and it was PACKED. we saw Matt T and had a few drinks, though he was extremely busy, and we knew that.
Then we went back to the Light Rail and hopped on and went home. Luckily there wasn't too much happening on the way back.
That was my New Years Eve. Crazy. It was a good thing the 20s didn't come over and fight more. Matt and I were right in the middle. That would be hard to get away from. But cooler heads prevailed. I think one of the 20s just got out of jail we knew he didn't want any part of this. Cooler heads prevailed. Unfortuneately the 16 yr old kid got punched out. but he deserved to get slugged for the things he said. Hopefully he'll be alittle more respectful next time.
