Bad Buying Experience

So I ordered a Printer and a Monitor from CDW on 12/12/2007. And from the get-go there were problems all over. First off, I couldn't get my order released. When you do an online order, you enter in the Bill to address and the Ship to Address. However because we have history with CDW, I couldn't get the order because the Ship to address didn't match our address on file. I didn't even use the company account. I can't get it released. That took 2 days to get fixed.

Then the order finally gets released. Well I can't see the order because the I'm not the account holder. Again, I didn't order on the account. That gets fixed.

On 12/17 I look at the order and it says that there is an error. and the packages are going back to the vendor. HUH? Why? I asked and it turns out that they did not have the street number on the package. What? How can you send a package out with out the street number?
So the order has to be redone and sent out. Delivery date: 12/24/2007. However we are closed so it won't get to us.

So today, 12/26, I check the order. "Address Error." What? again? I don't believe this. This is just crap. How can you, and only you, have problems sending us our package via UPS? In order to try again, I have to replace the order and select something more expensive than UPS to get the order. To make matters worse, I can't do anything on my Company Credit Card because of this order. And now there's no more room on my Credit Card.

I hope this all gets straightened out. No matter what, I'm not ordering anything from CDW again.

Sharks Still Rolling.

The Sharks are rolling along to the 2nd place in the Conference. But remember they can lose 3 game and be out of it! so it's important to keep doing what you are doing and play smart. The Sharks are doing that. They have dominated the opposition in the last 2 games. Sure they were blown out 7-1 but it was the 1st game back from a road trip and the backend of a back-to-back. It is just one of those games. They bounced back and dominated the next two games against Minnesota and Vancouver.

Me, personally, the punk behind me is still yelling stupid stuff and being as annoying as ever. Apparently during the Buffalo game (I didn't go), he got a little too riled up and was just constantly screaming and annoying everyone.
Come Tuesday, he surprised me. He apologized to the couple to our right. He said "I get to passionate and I let it get the best of me. I will try to be better about it." Wow he realizes he is annoying. Well that only lasted 2 periods. Come 3rd period he was back yelling at the ice.
The thing is the Sharks were up 4-1 with less than 5 minutes. The "Keep the pressure on" and "Don't fall back" isn't necessary. The Sharks are going to win. But no, he wants it all the way. Sigh. He has to be the most unhappy Sharks fan during a win.

He still ruining the game for everyone.

My Poor Car...

Sometime over the week someone broke into my car. My Eclipse was violated. Nick believes it was on Friday Night, Saturday morning.

Yuk. THey didn't break anything. So it's possible the door was unlocked. They took my bluetooth headset ($30) and my ashtray which had <$5 of change. It sucks and it is annoying but nothing else was broken and the car still runs.

We're just going to need more security.

Disneyland!

So we did our Annual Disneyland trip for Taylor. I must admit we were extremely spoiled. Grandma Linda got rooms at the Disneyland Grand Hotel. Located right next door to Disney California and Downtown Disney. It was a hop skip jump on into Disneyland.

Taylor had a great time. Everyday she had a huge amount of energy and excitement. The first day, when she got to her hotel room, her eyes lit up. BUNK BEDS! she never had bunk beds before and now shes got it. she climbed up and down the ladder over and over. So excited she couldn't contain herself at dinner. And she was a hassle to get to sleep on the top bunk. Finally she did, and tomorrow is Disney California.

Tuesday we started with the Breakfast with Characters, starring Chip and Dale. This was at the Grand Hotel. Taylor loves Chip and Dale. I didn't realize how much until this trip. She wanted pictures with them all the time.
Because we had gone to Disneyland the last 2 years, we knew where to go. We wanted to see exactly what we wanted to see. Disney California we went on Soaring California, Bugs Life show, and Twighlight Zone tower terror.

Wednesday and Thursday was Disneyland. Disneyland we took 2 days to go on Dumbo, Rockets, Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, Submarine Voyage with Nemo, Autopia (cars), Small World (Christmas), Winnie the Pooh.
The Submarine Voyage really wasn't any different than before. Except you see the story of Nemo as you "dive" deeper. It is definately not worth a 2 hour wait, nor a 1 hour wait. But we did it and we said "yes we went on the ride"

Wednesday we also got to go into toon Town Early. And in Toon Town, Mickey made us all honrary citizens. Taylor enjoys this area alot.
Also we went into the Princess area. She gets to meet princesses and make her own crown. She took pictures with Pocahantas, Sleeping Beauty and Belle.
We also went to Pirate's Lair, which used to be Tom Sawyer's Island. Taylor was deathly afraid of the tunnels. But once she was used to it, she was pulling me into the smallest of entrances.
She also took me up Tarzan's tree which used to be Swiss Family Robinsons. Lots and lots of steps... but we made it through. Mom, Dad and Wendy didn't go through. they made me do it. all the way to the top ( and down).
She still doesn't like Haunted Mansion (Christmas style) or Pirates of the Carribean.

After 3 days of great weather, Friday it poured. Not just rain, it poured. Disneyland made alot of money on ponchos. But it was our day to leave. But after leaving LA. it was clear skies all the way home.

Exhausted but it was fun. Taylor wasn't a brat like she was the year before. I'm glad I went this time. Taylor will go into Preschool so most likely there won't be a family trip to Disneyland. But I'm sure she will go with her cousins.
