So here's how the story goes...
Victoria and I went to South Lake Tahoe for Valentine's Day. Lisa was able to get us a room where they were staying for a good price. So we stayed the weekend in a timeshare at StarDust Lodge. After we arrived and unloaded the car we were going to relax and sit back. I was sitting on the floor and she was lying on the bed. I started playing with her ring that her mother gave her. She hates it when I tease her like that. I tease her by placing the ring on her left hand.
At first she wouldn't let me play with her ring, but she finally gave in. She thought that I would just tease her again. But this time, I took out her engagement ring and slipped it onto her finger. Her eyes lit up in surprise that it was actually her engagement ring.
I told her, "there you go." and she goes, "you have to ask me!"
"Will you marry me?"
And she said "YES."
Whew. I'm glad that is done. I was relieved. There were alot of people who knew and were just waiting for us. hahaha. There was informing everyone. And now it's time to rock n roll. there's the next step and planning for the wedding. An adventure for the two of us to enjoy.

Score a goal, get the win
I scored my 2nd "official" goal of my indoor soccer career. The first of my season. And we beat a tired Jacob's Team 5-2.
My goal occurred being up 3-0 (I think). Hard work goal. Taking a couple shots, but their keeper blocked it. But the keeper didn't have a grip on it, so when it bounced away, I put in a sharp angle, off balance shot through the keeper into the net. It was so off-balance, I fell backwards onto my butt. It was another left footed shot. lol. both my goals are left footed.
I played very well this game. got physical when I needed to. Got passes through. I had a good secondary assist. Down the wall to the end board and passed it into the middle. Candice and Primo battled it out, and Primo with the goal.
Candice scored a goal and had another great cornerkick assist. Her goal, made it 1-0 was a cross that hit off the other team and into the net. Her cornerkick was perfect. a short pass to Rick, just outside of the crease, and Rick tapped it home.
This game could have easily been a blowout. Their goalie was on, had lots of huge saves. And alittle luck. One possible ball rolled right along the goal line, without going in. Lots of shots just missed wide.
Unfortueately for Jacobs team, their compete team didn't show up. THey had to ask other people if they wanted to play. And the girls from FC Express decided to play a back-to-back game. They were exhausted and we could tell. We took advantage of the situation and used our speed and skill to dribble up the field and take shots. We had the 4 goal advantage which deems that only 2 players can enter the offensive zone. First time for me, since all of our games are really close.
Time to sit back, enjoy the victory, but prepare for a tough strikers team that have been blowing out opponents.
