American Idol 2010; 6 Perform results

Shiobhan has left the building.

"You sound like you are giving birth" Simon says. Apparently everyone agreed. She has done better though. I think she needs to harness the power of her voice to make the "screams" into powerful vocals. and I'm not sure she has done well enough. But it's something for her to work on.

My Personal Rankings for the Night

1. Lee - Blew it out of the park. Now the front runner. Slightly, ahead of Crystal (due to her solid, yet weakest performance)
   
2. Casey - I predicted it, and agree with Judges. Last week was Casey's wake-up call, and needed to come out strong. And he displayed emotion in his song.
   
3. Micheal - One of his better performances.
   
4. Aaron - Creatively changed the song to make it a song for his mother.
   
5. Crystal - Connected with song as it means something, but not her best. I hope she makes it to the next round, because she is better than this song.
   
6. Shobhan - Her screams of giving birth have put her at the bottom.

Tim Urban: you are finally GONE. No more so-so performances, No more smiles as you are being ripped a new one. The best quote:

1. Crystal Bowersox - in a class all her own. Broke down crying at the end, showing emotion
2. Lee DeWyse - Growing into his own every week.
3. Aaron Kelly - Started Slow, but improved
4. Casey James - No improvement, consistently good, but not pushing himself.
5. Micheal Lynch - Not really a great performance. He's showing cracks
6. Shobhan Magnus - Distracting performance
7. Tim Urban - Not a good performance at all

I expect Tim, Shobhan to be at the bottom. And Casey and Micheal to be one of the bottom 3.

American Idol 2010; 8+Saved Results

Due to last week's save, this week, it's DOUBLE ELIMINATION time.

The first Elimination came quick, in the first 15 minutes, like everyone knew, and it was just a formality:
Andrew Garcia goes home. Apparently everyone hated his performance.

Second Elimination had 3 waiting. Tim, Micheal, and Katie. Tim was sent back, much to my disgust. Then Ryan goes, "one of you is going home, and the other isn't even in the bottom 3." I'm like hello, are you trying to give Big Mike a heart attack? Katie goes home. She did well, but not well enough. She's not as good as the rest (better than Tim) but she leveled out.

American Idol 2010; 8+the Saved perform

Last week: wow. Didn't think Michel Lynche would be at the bottom, So the judges saved him, which is the right thing to do.
So he needed a rebound, and rebound BIG.

Here's my rankings based on last night's performance

1. Crystal Bowersox - Consistently great.
2. Micheal Lynche - REBOUNDED BIG
3. Lee DeWeyze - great voice, getting better
4. Casey James - weakest performance. Slid on through.
5. Katie Stevens
6. Aaron Kelly
7. Tim Urban - Actually getting better! I see us loosing the chance to get rid of him.
8. Siobhan Magnus - Tale of 2 halfs. First half sucked, but 2nd half when she uses the power of her voice it worked
9. Andrew Garcia - He took a hard rock aggressive song, and made it pop and weak. See ya!

Casey has to be careful not to suck or take this for granted almost what Micheal did last week. there are no more saves.

With two people going home, Andrew Garcia and someone 5-8 should be going home. The top 4 consistently are top 4.

San Jose Sharks enter the playoffs

Today begins the 2nd season, the NHL Playoffs.

Sharks steal #1 spot away from Chicago, and draw Colorado Avalanche.

This year is going to be different in the first round. Colorado is much weaker than Anaheim, and they are not hot like Anaheim was last year. Craig Anderson is untested in the playoffs.

Sharks should dominate this series and win in 5.

3. Lee DeWeyze - He was doing great, but the bagpiper caused more of a distraction than a help.

5. Andrew Garcia
6. Katie Stevens - I thought the judges would say the same to Katie as they said to Aaron; to slow, not modern/contemporary. but they gave her a passing grade.
7. Aaron Kelly
8. Siobhan Magnus - weak performance
9. Tim Urban- in his own category; while his performance was good, he isn't going to win this contest.

Great win, jumped into first place

Tonight was one of our best games of the season. We faced the 1st place team Bellie Goats. They had a player who, last year, single-handedly blew us out and demoralized us. We were all pumped up for this one. Ryan stepped up and said, "Let me handle him. I'll be on him."

We started strong. but something happened within the first 5 minutes. Rob went up to the player, and knocked him down. He stared him down and told him, "you are not doing this again." And from there, he took him off him game.

It really was a back and forth game. but we were able to pull a 4-1 lead by half time. Amy scored, and Travis scored 3. It was hard fought. We had alot of fouls for and against, as well as calls that weren't called.

in the 2nd half, we had them off their game. They missed alot of close shots and alot of wall pounding and frustration. One girl even slapped Travis. She got a blue card, but should really have got a red for striking a player. One player, while trying to retrieve the ball after a goal, tackled and pushed over Jef. I screamed at the ref he needs to manage this game. But by them he really had lost control. We eventually scored 2 more goals to match the 2 goals they scored. We won 6-3. They were mad. Frustrated and they didn't know what hit them. While we walked off with our heads raised high.

We are now the 1st place team and the team to beat. And now we are ready to take on the rest of the schedule and win the playoffs.

American Idol 2010; 10 perform Results

Surprise surprise, or not so surprised, Didi was eliminated tonight. She didn't have a good week or good last week. so It's not surprise she fell to the bottom. but that Tim guy is still there and he's only there because he's "adorable". But all the judges say that he is awful.

e3) Didi Benami - Just didn't improve, may have gotton worse.
