UFC Ranking Rules

UFC Ranking Rules:

How to view it:
  • [Ranking]. [Name] ([Last Result] / [Opponent] -> [Next opponent])
Last Results Abbreviations:
  • W - Win
  • L - Loss
  • D - Draw
  • NC - No Contest
  • WT - Won Title
  • LT - Loss Title
  • WTD - Won; Title Defended
  • LTS - Loss; Title Shot
If a fighter's last fight was a loss, he can not be higher than 6th, unless an immediate rematch is declared. This keeps the rankings fresh w/ a new #1 contender.

If a fighter is changing weight-classes, but considered a top contender, he will be ranked at the bottom of the top 10 until he fights in the weight class. The fighter can't/shouldn't be a #1 contender if he hasn't fought in the weight class.
